Sprint finish for Lagardère Sports at the African Games Brazzaville 2015

With a partnership first announced last July, Lagardère Sports teamed up with the Republic of Congo to provide a wide range of services needed for the success of the African Games Brazzaville 2015. The multi – sports competition, which takes place this month, also saw some events act as direct qualifiers for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
The African Games Brazzaville 2015, which started on September 4th, saw the Lagardèr e Sports team deliver all the makings of a world – class event. Within only three months, the sports marketing agency was able to provide a full range of services for the African Games Organising Committee including ticketing, media rights distribution, marketing solutions, content production and deployment of digital platforms.
Lagardère Sports will continue to provide these integrated multi-dimensional solutions until the African Games Brazzaville 2015 end on September 19th .
Marketing and Sponsorship
The 13 competition venues at the African Games Brazzaville 2015 were dressed in the colours of the event, maximising the branding of the competition and optimising a global look.
Digital services and contents
In partnership with the Organising Committee of the African Games (COJA), Lagardère Sports created a large, resonant digital coverage throughout the continent with:
– An official website with all the associated content of BrazzaTV
– A dedicated application (available on Google Play and iTunes )
– The community management of a Facebook page and a Twitter account
– A live streaming and replay services via the YouTube channel
Media rights production and distribution
Media production is supported on seven different sites (football, handball, basketball, swimming, a thletics, fencing, karate) with eight hours, per day of live broadcast. 16 sports benefit from media coverage with the production of a highlights package during the competition. 65 hours of live content and a 26 minutes daily highlight is being produced and offered to broadcasters.
Two million tickets were successfully designed, printed and sent on-site. Lagardère Sports also supports local staff to manage venue operations.
