Didier Quillot, CEO of Lagardère Active, has announced the reorganization of Nextedia, a Lagardère Active subsidiary, along the following lines.
Lionel Aboudaram is hereby appointed CEO of Nextedia in replacement of Henri Le Menestrel who has decided to leave the Group on his own accord and with the agreement of Lagardère Active management in order to pursue a personal project. Lionel Aboudaram took up his new post on 1 July 2009. His appointment, two months after that of Pierre Désangles who was named Managing Director in April of 2009 demonstrates Lagardère Active’s strategic commitment to developing Nextedia. Alain Maestracci, current Managing Director, will for the coming few weeks be lending his support to the new management team.
Lionel Aboudaram has spent the greater part of his professional life at the head of communication and media agencies. He was CEO of TEQUILA, then Executive Vice President of TBWA (OMNICOM) before joining back in January of 2007 the space selling organization of Channel M6 as Assistant General Manager.
Pierre Désangles has likewise spent most of his career as a marketing and communication consultant. He was instrumental in the success of RAPP COLLINS, Paris, whose CEO he was before joining Nextedia last March.
Didier Quillot, CEO of Lagardère Active said: « Lionel and Pierre are two highly talented professionals recognized as such by their peers in communication and media agencies. Their mission will be to take Nextedia to a new stage of development, notably in the field of digital services marketing. I ‘m delighted they have decided to join our Group.»
