Lagardère Unlimited sign’s sailing Gold medalist hopefuls and Recent World Champions Annie Lush, Katie and Lucy Macgregor

Lagardère Unlimited, sport industry and entertainment company of the Lagardère Group, has today made its first move into the world of professional sailing by signing #1 boat in the world Annie Lush, Katie and Lucy Macgregor.

British racing trio Annie Lush, Katie and Lucy Macgregor are three of the brightest prospects to have emerged from the sailing world scene in recent years and having just won the World Championships last month are on course to be competing for the Gold medal in the Olympics in 2012 in the UK.

Sailing 2012 hopeful Lucy Macgregor added her name to the history books by becoming the first British skipper to win the ISAF Women’s Match Racing World Championship in its 12-year history. The 23-year-old and her crew of Annie Lush, younger sister Kate Macgregor were crowned World Champions in September. They also won the Gold medal in the World Cup Series in 2009 and bronze in 2010.
They are all individually talented and have racked up countless awards and medals over the years with Annie Lush being a double Matchracing World champion in 2004 and 2005. Lucy Macgregor having won a gold in the European Championships in 2007/8 and silver in 2010 and her youngster sister Kate having won a gold medal in the youth Olympics in 2008.
