Lagardère Active and Independent labels boost their partnership

Lagardère active to create Top Indé brand

At Midem 2010 Lagardère Active announced a new partnership with the French independent music producers’ union UPFI.

After Top, Lagardère Active is launching Top Indé dedicated to a ranking of the top music sales for independent labels. This weekly chart will be available from Virgin 17, Virgin Radio, virginradio.fr, virgin17.fr, musiline.fr, premiere.fr and the Virgin 17 catch-up service virgin17replay.fr.

Top Indé will be promoted in particular with the Top Indé of the Year, an annual event at which independent artists will be recognized for their achievements. The award ceremony and live performances of the winning artists will be organized by UPFI and broadcast over Virgin 17.
