Christophe Thoral appointed director of development and of animation production activities for Lagardère Entertainment

Arnaud Molinié, chairman of Lagardère Entertainment, has announced Christophe Thoral’s appointment as director of development and of animation production activities for Lagardère Entertainment.

In particular, Thoral will be responsible for acquisitions and partnerships involving Lagardère Entertainment in France and abroad in the fields of audiovisual production, live entertainment and audiovisual rights management.

He will also have operational responsibility for Lagardère Entertainment’s animation activities. In this capacity, he will become chairman of Timoon Animation, replacing Philippe Mounier, who is leaving the group.

Thoral is a member of Lagardère Entertainment’s management committee.

A graduate of ESCP and holder of an MBA from Wharton, Thoral (41) began his career with Bolloré, then moved to McKinsey as a project manager before joining Lagardère in 2000 as deputy director of strategy and development.
