A stronger organization for Lagardère Active

Denis Olivennes has announced the following appointments to strengthen Lagardère Active’s organization as part of its accelerated move to digital technology:

  • Richard Lenormand has been appointed general manager of the Radio/Television division (including Europe 1, Virgin, RFM, Gulli, Canal J, Tiji, June and MCM).
  • Fabien Sfez has been appointed head of Operations and Digital and Technological Development. The Technologies, Pure Players, CRM and E-Commerce departments will all report to him.
  • Marc Gonnet has been appointed head of Strategy. He will report to Denis Olivennes.
  • Thierry Orsoni has been appointed Lagardère Active’s communications director. He will also be a member of the Executive Committee.

According to Denis Olivennes, “We’ve set out the broad objectives of an ambitious corporate project – Reinventing Lagardère Active – which will help us to develop market share. Our teams are really going to have to focus on the success of this project. By building on its existing resources – press magazines, audiovisual production companies, radio and television stations, websites and advertising brokerages – Lagardère Active has the assets and talent to not only meet the complex challenges facing media companies today, but to turn those challenges into successes.
