With more than 16 million unique visitors (UVs) at end-September via all points of connection combined, Lagardère Active reached 46% of all French Internet users and is the unchallenged leader in the women’s segment.

  • Lagardère Active is the No. 2 French media company on the Internet
  • and the No. 9 Internet player in digital readership, all groups combined.
  • In addition, its advertising sales division, Lagardère Publicité, has sold advertising space to a whole range of publishers to date, achieving a solid 20 million UVs per month.

Lagardère Active ranks among the top three in key strategic segments:

Leader in the women’s segment
Lagardère Active’s women’s-segment sites hold two leading positions:

  • Doctissimo.fr, the top general-interest women’s site, leads the pack with 8.2 million UVs (up 17.5% over the previous month).
  • Elle.fr, the top high-end women’s press site, saw 2.4 million UVs (up 30% over the previous month).

No. 2 in the entertainment and children’s segments

  • The Première Network* held its No. 2 position with 4.3 million UVs (up 13% over the previous month).
    (*The Première Network comprises various film, television, people, music, event and ‘buzz’ sites.)
  • Infobébés is the No. 2 site for parents with 1.5 million UVs.
  • Lagardère Kids (Gulli, Canal j, TiJi) approached the one-million mark in UVs to remain the leader in its competitive field, excluding e-commerce, with 930 UVs (up 8.2% over the previous month).

No. 3 in the finance/economy segment

  • boursier.com achieved 2.2 million UVs (twice the previous month).

Strong growth in the news segment

  • In the news segment, jdd.fr saw solid growth with almost 1.5 million UVs (up 36% over the previous month).
  • Europe1.fr achieved 1.8 million UVs (up 37% over the previous month).
