Swimmer Amaury Leveaux joins Lagardère Paris Racing

Lagardère Paris Racing is proud to announce that Amaury Leveaux has joined the club.

Born on 2 December 1985, this native of the French town of Delle in the Franche-Comté region who is 2.04m tall, specializes in sprint events in both long and short course competition.

His main strong point is his expert technique in turn and pull-out phases. He is the current world record holder in the 100m freestyle, the 50m butterfly and the 50m freestyle (short course).

He has racked up an impressive record of achievements in recent years as two-time silver medallist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics (in the 50m freestyle and the 4X100m relay), four-time European champion in short course in Croatia in 2008, and bronze medallist in the 50m freestyle at the recent world championships in Rome. Leveaux has thus established himself as a major figure in international swimming.

Lagardère Paris Racing is a multi-sport athletic club whose activities range from leisure and health-related sports to programmes for elite competitive athletes.
