Results of the Annual Ordinary General Meeting of Lagardère SA

Shareholders approve all resolutions proposed by the Board of Directors.

The Group announces the creation of a joint venture between Hachette Livre and STUDIOCANAL dedicated to developing adaptations of literary works for film and television

Lagardère SA convened its shareholders for the Annual Ordinary General Meeting at the Casino de Paris on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., chaired by Mr. Arnaud Lagardère, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

All resolutions submitted to the General Meeting of Shareholders were approved, including:

  • the approval of the annual and consolidated financial statements for 2025 and the distribution of a dividend of €0.67 per share; with an ex-dividend date of May 6, 2026, and paid as of May 8, 2026;
  • the appointment of Grant Thornton as Statutory Auditor for a term of six financial years, replacing Forvis Mazars;
  • the approval of the remuneration components for corporate officers granted for 2025 and the new remuneration policies for 2026;
  • the renewal of the authorization granted to the Board of Directors for a period of eighteen months to carry out transactions in the Company’s shares.

During presentations to shareholders focusing on business operations, financial results, CSR strategy, and corporate governance, Arnaud Lagardère, Chairman and CEO of Lagardère, and Maxime Saada, Vice President of Lagardère, announced the creation of “ON SCREEN,” a joint venture between Hachette Livre and STUDIOCANAL that will be dedicated to developing premium adaptations for film and television based on Hachette Livre’s catalog.
