Relay 2009 campaign: Relay takes action alongside humanitarian associations to support childhood

For the 9th consecutive year, Lagardère Services has placed the corporate promotion of the RELAY brand in the framework of sustainable development.
Every year, the Group’s subsidiaries that run RELAY stores co-organize a campaign that is based on a partnership with several humanitarian organizations that advocate childhood protection.
Between 1 December 2008 and 31 January 2009, during one or more weeks, more than 1,100 RELAY outlets spread out over 11 countries displayed a poster, in promotional spaces, so as to raise travellers’ awareness of this universal cause.
At the same time, actions were carried out locally, within retail outlets, in order to help the partner associations: collection of funds in Canada and the United States, distribution of bracelets in Spain, and meetings & dialogues with community volunteers in Germany, etc.
