Payot inaugurates its new online bookstore

On Tuesday 7th February 2006, Payot launched its new online bookstore in Lausanne (Switzerland). With this new entirely rebuilt web site, Payot wants to be the 1st online bookstore in French-speaking Switzerland.
The new www.payot.ch offers a great quality of service, efficiency and user-friendliness with its 650,000 entries in the catalogue, its various indexing levels and powerful search tool. The Swiss French papers were unanimous in welcoming the web site, banner headlines even read “Payot Libraire competes with Amazon”.
This new Internet site aims for a turnover of 5-million Swiss francs within 2 or 3 years.
