Mr. Xavier de SARRAU elected as Chairman of the Lagardère SCA Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board of Lagardère SCA, dated Tuesday 27 April 2010, which has taken place immediately following the Annual Shareholders Meeting, has unanimously appointed Mr. Xavier de SARRAU as its Chairman.
Mr. de SARRAU has also been appointed as new Chairman of the Audit Committee. The Remuneration and Nomination Committee will be chaired by Mr. François DAVID, Chairman of Coface.
Mr. Xavier de SARRAU, who is 59, is a lawyer, graduated from HEC, doctor of fiscal law and former head of operations for Europe and Middle East of a large consulting organization. Xavier de SARRAU is presently advising international companies, in particular in the fields of finance, law and corporate governance.
