Lines joins Lagardère Unlimited as Head of Media activities for Europe/Africa Region. He reports to Alain Lemarchand, COO of the Region.

Media is an important part of the business in Europe/Africa, with entities like Sportfive International and IEC in Sports.
Acknowledged as one of the most accomplished and seasoned veterans, Lines brings his knowledge of the international media sports market, his solid network of media relationships, as well as his proven ability to provide rights-owners with creative and targeted media rights strategies that cross all platforms and to develop beneficial partnerships with broadcasters.

Lines, who joined the Premier League in 2002, where, among other things, he launched the Premier League’s own channel, was a driving force behind the League’s rapid growth in overseas television.

“Phil’s unparalleled knowledge, worldwide network and entrepreneurial approach will play a key role in the growth plan of Lagardère Unlimited” said Lemarchand.

“I am joining at a very exciting time. Lagardère Unlimited is a major force in sports media and I have been very impressed by the company’s ambition and determination. I look forward to adding my experience to the team.” said Lines
