A consortium led by Lagardère Travel Retail together with Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SACC), and Arabian Ground Handling Logistic Company, has been awarded the concession contract to operate 2,040 m2 of commercial space in terminals 1 and 2 of King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh.
Following a highly competitive tendering process conducted by Riyadh King Khaled International Airport, the contract will provide Lagardère Travel Retail with the opportunity to operate two Duty Free units, each 1,020 m2, offering, amongst others, perfumes & cosmetics, fashion & accessories, gold & diamonds, tobacco, confectionary, food stuff & toiletries, electronics, toys & souvenirs.
In 2015, more than 10 million international passengers used Riyadh King Khaled International Airport as their origin, destination or transit point.
