In agreement with Constance Benqué, CEO of ELLE France & International, François Coruzzi, CEO of ELLE International Media Licenses and Lagardère Global Advertising (LGA), has decided to reorganize the International Department to support the development of the ELLE and ELLE Decoration brands internationally as follows:
Valéria Bessolo Llopiz, until now SVP / ELLE International Director, has been appointed SVP / International Director of ELLE & ELLE Decoration. She will be in charge of the Brand Management division of the International Department, with the following responsibilities:
- Publishing and editorial management of the ELLE network (46 publications), ELLE Decoration network (25 publications) and derivatives (ELLE Men, ELLE Girl, ELLE Wedding, etc.);
- International editorial productions;
- International marketing strategy of the editorial and advertising activities.
Mickael Berret, SVP / Director of International Media Licenses, Digital Development and Syndication of the ELLE and ELLE Decoration brands, is in charge of the Business and Operations division. He is responsible for:
- Monitoring the international licenses of ELLE, ELLE Decoration and derivatives;
- Business development;
- Management of digital activities of the network;
- Content syndication.
Stéphanie Delattre, SVP International Advertising of LGA, is in charge of the Advertising division. As such, she is responsible for:
- LGA’s Paris office;
- LGA’s 22 international offices;
- Special operations.

After many years working with international fashion designers such as Chloé, Rochas and Ines de la Fressange, Valéria Bessolo Llopiz joined Lagardère Active in 2001, working for the ELLE brand in the Diversification Division where she was subsequently appointed VP Licensing Europe & MEA and International Head of Design.
In 2008, she joined the ELLE magazine network as International Editorial Director and was appointed Senior Vice President / ELLE International Director in 2011, overseeing and coordinating the editions worldwide on both publishing and editorial aspects. She has created and implemented global initiatives such as the ELLE HAPPINESS INDEX and the ELLE INTERNATIONAL BEAUTY AWARDS, gathering all editions of the 46 countries in full collaboration. In 2014, she took over the management of the international editorial productions which now generate annually more than 4,500 editorial pages in the ELLE network. Since 2016, she also manages the marketing department of Lagardère Global Advertising.
After a 1st experience of more than 4 years with KPMG Consulting, Mickael Berret joined the Finance department of Lagardère Active in October 2002. Then, he moved to New York to work as Business Manager in the Group’s American subsidiary Hachette Filipacchi Media US from 2006 to 2008. Then, he joined the International General Management department of Lagardère Active in Paris where he was in charge of the media licensing business and the supervision of the Group subsidiaries in Japan, Germany, Canada and Russia.
In 2011 he was appointed SVP Director of International Media Licenses & Syndication for the ELLE and ELLE Decoration brands, responsible for the supervision of the Licensing Business operations with the international publishing partners, as well as the management and development of the editorial content syndication activity for ELLE and ELLE Decoration. In 2016, he also became responsible for the Digital development and the business development of these two brands.
Stephanie Delattre is Senior Vice President of LGA (Lagardère Global Advertising). She manages the ELLE advertising business and coordinates 23 offices of LGA around the world. Previously, Stephanie worked at the New York Times for 15 years as Regional Advertising Director for France, Italy and Switzerland. Specialized in the luxury business and working directly with both teams and representatives, Stephanie was in charge of all print, magazine and digital solutions. Prior to that, Stephanie worked for the International Herald Tribune as Advertising Director France and Southern Europe, in addition to EURO RSGC and Publicis where she accompanied clients on international campaigns.
