Lagardère Active remains the leader in internet audience ratings for entertainment and women’s sites

At the end of April 2008, Lagardère strengthened its position as the leading French media group and eighth-largest player on the Internet scene, with 11 million unique visitors (UVs)*.

  • In the Women’s segment:

Doctissimo

held on to its lead with 7 million unique visitors.
ELLE moved up two positions to become the fifth most visited women’s site with 1.2 million unique visitors, also confirming its leadership position among websites associated with upscale women’s magazines.

  •  In the Entertainment segment: 

With 2.5 million unique visitors Première Network* became the No. 2 entertainment and film site.

*Première Network comprises Premiere.fr, MCM.net, Tele7.fr, Public.fr and Jeanmarcmorandini.com.

  • Europe 1 continued to draw 1 million unique visitors.
