Lagardère Active and TV-replay.fr form a partnership

Lagardère Active’s entertainment portal, Premiere.fr, and TV-replay.fr, the guide to catch-up TV and the leader in its market, have announced that they have entered into a partnership agreement. This agreement should allow Premiere.fr, and more specifically the portal’s television section, to develop its offering of services and to remain in line with changing usage related to catch-up television.

The agreement provides for cooperation between the two players in two main areas:

  • An editorial partnership between the two portals that will allow Premiere.fr to associate its broadcast-television programme offering with the guide to on-demand programmes.
  • Marketing of ad space on TV-replay.fr by Lagardère Publicité.

According to Thomas Kouck, editor of Premiere.fr and director of Lagardère Active’s Entertainment division, “This partnership was formed in a context of rapid evolution in on-demand usage. It seemed only natural for Lagardère Active to create a partnership that brings together our established broadcast television programmes and the leading guide to catch-up television.
Says Patrick Suquet, president of SBDS Active (the publisher of TV-replay.fr), “This agreement should allow TV-replay.fr to boost its leading position in the catch-up TV guide segment and to continue its development on all screens.
