An interactive extension to the magazine Elle à Table, elleatable.fr has made 10,000 recipes from the famous Elle and Elle à Table recipe cards available online to respond to French women’s passionate interest in cooking.

In the web 2.0 era, Internet users can comment on recipes posted by the editorial team as well as those of other users and build up their own interactive recipe book based on a selection of themed recipes (menus from chefs and celebrities, cooking from the cupboard, low-calorie cooking, a gourmet guide, tips and tricks, a wine section and more).

Elleatable.fr offers a wide range of interactive functions, including the best cookery blogs and RSS information feeds, as well as a constant stream of contests (with prizes including holidays and up-to-the-minute gifts), recipe competitions and blogs for cooking enthusiasts who like to add a little technology to the mix!

Every week, chefs and members of the cookery blogosphere will provide cookery classes via video. Elleatable.fr is updated every day to offer Internet users new recipe cards, menus based on the themes for the day (including low-cost menus, extra-special recipes, low-calorie meals and quick-to-prepare dishes). The site really has its finger on the pulse and will take an inventive approach to cooking, always on the lookout for new culinary trends: cooking “à la plancha”, brunches, crumbles, cakes, dishes served in small glasses – all the latest and greatest.

Elleatable.fr is aimed at everyone and every budget, with special low-cost meals, recipes for beginners, classic dishes, chefs’ creations, recipes to make with children or perfect for little ones, and plenty more.

Practical, original, fun and interactive, all at the same time: the site was designed with the help of Elle’s art department and offers users a visual environment that’s close to that of a magazine.

The elleatable.fr site is accessible now via the following two websites: http://www.elleatable.fr and the cookery section of the http://www.elle.fr site.
