Daniel Galinski appointed General Manager of LARI (Lagardère Active Radio International)

Richard Lenormand, Senior Executive Director – Radios/Televisions and Managing Director of French Music Radio Stations today announced the appointment of Daniel Galinski as General Manager of LARI (Lagardère Active Radio International).
He will be succeeding Jean-Christophe Lestra and will take up his duties as of today. His mission will be to develop the radio activities of Lagardère Active Group abroad (expanding activities in existing territories, exploring new geographic areas as well as extending radio leadership on digital media).
As CFO of Lagardère Active’s French and International Music Radio Stations since September 2008, Daniel Galinski has spent most of his career within the Lagardère Group, then with Lagardère Active. Aged 42, Daniel Galinski served in several positions in the Group, mainly in the internal audit department as special advisor, then as Deputy Director from 2004 onwards. In 2007, he joined Lagardère Active as Chief Financial Officer in charge of Mergers & Acquisitions.
Jean-Christophe Lestra, General Manager of the French and International Music Radio Division of Lagardère Active and CEO of Lagardère Active Radio International, has decided in agreement with Lagardère Active to step down from his operational functions. He has been charged until the end of July 2012 to devise new development strategies for LARI.
