For several years, Lagardère has maintained frequent, ongoing and seamlessly dialogue with non-financial investment analysts to comply with their growing expectations regarding environmental, social and governance issues.
Extra-financial analysis consists in assessing companies (and other kinds of issuers of financial securities) on their environmental, social and governance (ESG) policies to draw up a rating and compare ESG practices.

These ratings are taken into account by investors and asset managers. Thus, with regard to its commitment, level of maturity and best practices in sustainability and ESG, the Lagardère group achieved the following performances in 2024 (based on 2023 data):

  • Sustainalytics: Lagardère’s ESG risk continues to decrease and stands at 12.87 in 2025 (compared to 14.23 in 2024 and 16.45 in 2023), a performance that places Lagardère in 4th place in its category;
  • EthiFinance: Lagardère achieved a score of 70/100, an improvement of 14 points compared with the previous year..
