Lagardère Unlimited announced today that it has signed a multi-year representation agreement with former #10 in the world ITF junior player Dominik Schulz. Schulz’s decision to join the Lagardère Unlimited team came after a long, and competitive, recruiting battle with some of the industry’s leading management agencies. Schulz will be managed on a daily basis by Lagardère Unlimited President, Ken Meyerson.

After signing with Lagardère Unlimited, Schulz reinforced his decision of making the right choice in management by stating, “My father and I were looking for the very best in management and special attention that I deserve, for many years now. Ken Meyerson is one of the most experienced agents in tennis and I know he will be able to really help my career. It gives me a lot of confidence to join the Lagardère Unlimited team because I join such an elite list of top players on the men’s and women’s tour.”

Schulz, who currently resides in Munich, Germany, has had a tremendous junior tennis career. Starting at just four-years-old, and with the help of his coach and father, Karsten Schulz, he quickly became one of the best junior tennis players in Germany. Schulz won the German Championships in singles and doubles seven times during his junior tennis career, and has also been a dominant force on the European front reaching the finals of the Boy’s 16 & Under European Championships in 2008 and claiming the boy’s 16 & under number one ranking in August 2008 on the Tennis Europe Rankings.

In addition to this, Schulz has been very successful in international competition reaching the semi-finals of the Junior French Open, the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon Junior Championships and the semi-finals of the prestigious Eddie Herr Championships Boy’s 14 & Under. At just 17-years-old, Schulz will continue to compete in international junior tournaments, but will also begin what is anticipated to be a very exciting and successful professional tennis career.

“I have worked ten years in Germany from 1990 to 2000, representing some of the very best German tennis players, including 1991 Wimbledon Champion, 1993 Masters Winner, and 1996 French Open finalist, Michael Stich. It’s been a long time since such a young promising talent has emerged from this historically very strong country,” said Lagardère Unlimited President, Ken Meyerson. “At Lagardère Unlimited, we are delighted to be working with Dominik and his family.”
