Two new stores for HDS RNA

HDS Retail has opened two stores on November 4, 2004, in the sparkling new Vaughan Mills shopping centre, in Vaughan, Ontario.

The Great Canadian News Company covers 1,784 square feet (165 m2) and offers a broad assortment of newspapers, magazines, children’s books and remainder books. It also caters to the needs of customers and shopping mall employees by carrying a great mix of beverages, confectionary and snacks. The store has a great corner location and will no doubt become a favorite of the Vaughan Mills regulars.

The Boutique also opened on the occasion in a 976 square-foot (88 m2) location in the same shopping center. The concept offers fashion accessories merchandise (watches, sunglasses, ties, scarves, pens) at a unique price-point of (or 10 Euros). The Vaughan Mills concept includes value retail so the store is expected to benefit from the crowd of discerning bargain-hunters that will frequent the shopping center for years to come.

Vaughan Mills is a unique and dynamic mega-mall featuring 200 retail stores that opened on November 4, 2004. The development is the first Mills-type concept in Canada. With 1.4 million square feet of retail space (130,000 m2), Vaughan Mills offers a unique mix of value retail and contemporary entertainment set in an ambience of distinctive design and architecture. Other Mills location include Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Florida, and Xanadu in Madrid, Spain.
