With an expanding digital catalogue, Le Livre de Poche sought to create a dedicated Internet space for Livre de Poche eBooks. The Livre de Poche eBook site, which went live on Thursday 30 May, already provides access to more than 500 digital-format titles via sales platforms.

These eBooks include classics like J’irai cracher sur vos tombes by Boris Vian, L’Assommoir by Émile Zola and Lettre d’une inconnue by Stefan Zweig, along with new releases by such major contemporary writers as Ken Follett, Patricia Cornwell and Robert Ludlum.

On 17 June, this digital development will expand with the launch of the first digital serial novel from Guillaume Pipon, winner of the writing contest organized with WeLoveWords in late 2012.

This first novel, full of mystery, action and surprising developments, will be released by retailers at a pace of two episodes per week for five weeks to maintain the suspense all summer long!

In honour of its 60th anniversary, the publishing house has also travelled back in time to trace its six-decade history on its Facebook page.
