An experienced CSR leader, Arnaud Rolland has 28 years of expertise in the Consumer Industry, including 22 years at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), the leading global bottler of The Coca-Cola Company.
After a first experience in the retail sector at Carrefour group, Arnaud joined Coca-Cola to work in category management and commercial negotiation with the retail sector, before taking over the management of CCEP’s CSR strategy in France in 2008. In this role, Arnaud has been in charge of all issues related to the circular economy of packaging, CSR partnerships with mass retailers, the implementation of the climate strategy and the social impact strategy. He has been the spokesperson for CCEP on all environmental and social issues, administrator of the National Packaging Council, of the Plastic Pact and member of all the environmental and CSR commissions of the consumer goods industry.
Arnaud Rolland is taking the lead of the Global PEPS Team and will ensure Lagardère Travel Retail delivers on its ambition to be championing Travel Retail’s sustainability, by designing, coordinating and implementing the global Corporate Social Responsibility strategy across our activities.
Arnaud’s appointment is testament to Lagardère Travel Retail’s investment into reinforcing its CSR governance framework. Last year, a PEPS Global Committee has been set up, and is formed by key members including Business Lines leads, Product, HR and Communications experts who are responsible for driving action across all four pillars of the CSR strategy. The Committee works under the guidance and supervision of the groups’ Management Board and of the global CSR team. Key countries across our network are also creating dedicated CSR Committees, and the achievement of CSR targets is now included in the performance-linked remuneration of senior leaders across the organization.
The appointment of Arnaud Rolland takes place as the company is on track to achieve its contribution to a global, collective carbon neutrality (scopes 1 & 2), across all operations, by the end of 2023.
Commenting on this announcement, Lucio Rossetto, Chief Business Officer, Lagardère Travel Retail, said: “I am delighted to welcome Arnaud to our Team, to which he is an ideal completion. During the past few years as we had to navigate the challenging Covid context, Lagardère Travel Retail have been relentlessly investing into our sustainability program, clearly defining a long-term vision, ambitious targets and structuring an effective approach to enable change. The objective is to secure long-term sustainable operations in response to customers, landlords, partners and employees’ expectations. I trust Arnaud will provide the competences, the focus and the energy to realize the ambitious objectives of a committed and enthusiastic organization.”
