A few days ago, Dag Rasmussen, Chairman & CEO of Lagardère Services, gathered the 150 top managers representing the 30 countries where the group operates to officially announce the company’s new name. By the end of the year, all the group companies will be renamed Lagardère Travel Retail.

In his internal speech, Dag Rasmussen explained the reasons that led the group to take the decision to change the name of the company. This new name aims at serving the group’s ambition in its quest for growth and excellence and conveys its strategic position in travel retail as well as its belonging to Lagardère group.

Distinct from the group’s famous “B2C” brands (Relay, Aelia Duty Free, …), Lagardère Travel Retail offers a unique “B2C4B” approach, aiming at satisfying each and every traveler along his journey and guaranteeing the highest quality standards on its three businesses, hence maximizing value creation for landlords and brands.

The brand signature expresses this promise in a nutshell: Experience new horizons, every day.
