Lagardère Publicité, which sells more than 150 titles across six media, is revealing a brand-new advertising format, “native advertising,” with its first digital-environment offering for the Public brand.

This new advertising practice strives to embed editorialized content sponsored by the advertiser, with the same tone and format as the title in which it appears. This unobtrusive advertising, adapted to the reading style, offers high-quality content like videos, sponsored stories and more that encourage readers to share them on social networks, because they are easy to share across all digital devices.

Yannick Lacombe, deputy managing director, marketing and strategy at Lagardère Publicité, explains: “The native advertising offering being launched for Public is directly in line with management’s innovative approach. It provides sponsored content that is fully integrated into the Public site and application and is in line with its editorial viewpoint, so that advertisers can position themselves as a central part of the user experience, drawing as much attention to their messages as possible and making them highly interactive.
