Lagardère Active acquires BilletRé

Lagardère Active continues with its digital development and diversification by acquiring the website BilletRé, an online ticketing service, the French market leader in reduced price ticket reservations with more than 2.2 million tickets sold in 2012.

Founded in 2000 and profitable since several years, BilletRé experienced double-digit growth in 2012, driven by its distinctive positioning and the boom in ticket digitisation.

BilletRé will continue to be managed by Fabienne and Jean-Marie Rétif who have successfully established the social dimension of their website with reviews from people who enjoy attending cultural events, and have made their website a genuine partner for theatres and show producers, thus ensuring the profitable development of the company.
