Virgin Radio gains 116,000 listeners in one year

With 116,000 new listeners in one year, Virgin Radio attracts 2,427,000 listeners aged 13 and up every day.

Since their debut on 22 August 2011, Cyril Hanouna and his team have been waking up more and more listeners every morning between 6 and 9 a.m. The Hanouna Morning Show has grown 21% in the 25-34 age group compared to the September-October 2011 sweeps, representing an increase of 69,000 listeners for this target group.

Growth in the 25-49 age group

Some 1,465,000 listeners aged 25 to 49 choose Virgin Radio every day, representing a 7% cumulative audience increase over a year and a 10% increase since early autumn. All the segments in this target group have grown since the last sweeps period.

Virgin Radio wins over female listeners

With Un Maxx de Tubes, the station has won over more and more female listeners in successive sweeps periods, gaining 140,000 listeners over a year, a 12% increase.
