Successful Experiential Agency Becomes Part of Lagardère Sports’ Global Consulting Practice
Lagardère Sports today announced the acquisition of Rooftop2 Productions, an experiential marketing and production agency that will enhance the capabilities of Lagardère Sports’ global consulting practice and the services it provides to current and prospective clients.
Rooftop2 Productions, founded in 2012 and based in New York City, has built a strong reputation for creating and producing live marketing experiences that connect brands with consumers. The agency’s services include live event development and production, sporting event design and management, experiential marketing and activation, media and content production and hospitality solutions. It works with a premier roster of clients across diverse industries including automotive, broadcasting, entertainment, non-profits, sports, and wireless providers, some of which include FanDuel, the NFL, New York Jets, New York City FC, Topps, and the United Way.
Rooftop2 Productions executive leadership has extensive experience in brand marketing and activation, including co-founders Ryan Halkett, Scott Lasky, and Gennaro Scarpelli, Chief Operating Officer Marc Tarozzi, and President Marc Riccio. Halkett, Lasky and Tarozzi all previously worked together at Madison Square Garden, Scarpelli worked for James Daniel Entertainment, which produced events for brands and sports properties including MSG, and Riccio spent 17 years with the New York Jets. They will report into Kern Egan, Lagardère Sports Executive Vice President of Consulting.
Lagardère Sports’ expansive corporate consulting division provides advisory, activation, and analytics services for brands in the partnership marketing space. It is part of Lagardère Sports and Entertainment, which has more than 1,600 employees stretched across five continents. Lagardère Sports’ blue-chip roster of clients includes some of the most active brands marketing in global sports and entertainment such as BMW, Citi, EA Sports, Epson, Gazprom, MetroPCS, TAG Heuer, and ZTE.
