Lagardère SCA announces that:

• the Managing Partners have today decided to cancel 3 million treasury shares representing 2.23% of the current share capital;
• the Company is considering the possibility of implementing, in the next few months, the share buyback program approved by the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of April 29, 2008.

The Lagardère Group is an international market leader in the media sector (books, press, audiovisual, distribution of cultural and entertainment products, and sports rights). The Group also has a 10% stake in EADS.
