Europe 1 sets new download record to become the most-downloaded radio station in France

  • Europe 1* exceeds 6 million downloads, setting a historic new record
    With 6,389,899 downloads, Europe 1 has surpassed 6 million downloads for the first time, achieving the status of most-downloaded radio station ever. Europe 1 has beaten its own historic record from May 2012, surpassing it by more than 800,000 downloads.
  • Europe 1: strong year-on-year growth
    Europe 1 has posted strong year-on-year growth: more than 1.6 million additional podcasts in one year, representing a 34% rise over October 2011.

With standout results from Nicolas Canteloup, Laurent Ruquier and Franck Ferrand.

*Europe 1 remains the leader despite partial results: Due to a technical glitch in September relating to downloads of shows posted online during weekends, Médiamétire eStat was only able to measure audiences for certain Europe 1 podcasts during October, so the statistics do not include downloads posted for shows between 1 and 5 October inclusive.
