Welcome to the « ELLE Factory »…

ELLE.fr is the first women’s site (and one of the largest media in Europe) to partner with Netvibes, a startup, which has become since its launch in September 2005, the “must-see” site of the moment, to create a made-to-order page that can be customized at will called « My ELLE ».

Introduced at the Web 2.0 show in San Francisco, this space offers users of the ELLE.fr site all the
benefits of web 2.0 thanks to a technology that makes it possible to reorganize their page by adding,
dragging or dropping various sections and headings.

« My ELLE » combines customization and ease of use.

In a few clicks, you are now able to create your own site as if you were its editor-in chief :

  • Select any RSS feed from Elle.fr : the day’s recipe, beauty or fashion news or your daily horoscope
  • Personalize the services you are interested in : weather report, to-do lists, agenda
  • Choose your favourite tools : different email accounts, search engine, photo or video, the best places to shop, etc
  • You are deep in the heart of the blogosphere, and you can select the feeds from the best blogs
  • Keep track of web 2.0 news thanks to the ELLE directory that selects the best RSS feeds on current news and all women-related topics.

According to Julien Billot, Digital Business Group EVP for Lagardère Active :
« Our partnership with Netvibes, which enables each Internet user to become the editor-in-chief of her own site shows our
commitment to bring the ELLE brand closer to its female readers by using today’s cutting-edge technologies. »

Accord to Tariq Krim, founder of Netvibes :
« With My ELLE we are happy to offer a female audience a tailor-made portal that is customizable at will and unequalled in France. Women can now have a new Internet experience. »

« My ELLE » puts Internet users centre stage and makes it possible for them to save time by focusing on
the main issues.
See you then at http://www.netvibes.com/myelle to discover all these brand new
capabilities.
