Correction

Contrary to what François Hollande said this morning on RMC, Jean-Luc Lagardère was not present at Nicolas Sarkozy’s meeting at Bercy yesterday. Jean-Luc Lagardère died four years ago.

If François Hollande meant to say “Arnaud Lagardère”, he was also not at Nicolas Sarkozy’s meeting yesterday afternoon.

Arnaud Lagardère would like to take advantage of this correction to “congratulate all his journalists and editorial teams for the balance they have shown in covering this campaign, and the high levels of professionalism and impartiality they have demonstrated”.
