Paris, January 6, 2015

In agreement with Constance Benqué, CEO of ELLE France and International, editorial director Françoise-Marie Santucci announced two appointments to the editorial staff:

  • Anne-Cécile Sarfati, previously magazine editor-in-chief, has been appointed to the position of editor-in-chief of ELLE Active, ELLE Paris and ELLE Regions.

Launched in Paris by ELLE magazine in 2012, the ELLE Active Forum has become the meeting place for French working women. In 2014, it welcomed more than 2,500 women, who received counselling from over 200 experts on how to better promote themselves in their professional activities. In 2015, the ELLE Active Forum will welcome even more women: for the first time, it will be held at regional level, in Lyon (on 2 February) and Marseille (on 5 October). In Paris, it will take place over two days (27-28 March). The ELLE Active Forum aims to reaffirm the independence of women through work, and now more than ever is proving to be a major focus of development for ELLE.

Anne-Cécile Sarfati will also assume the editorship of the 11 regional editions of ELLE created by the magazine in 2006.

  • Katell Pouliquen joins ELLE as editor-in-chief of the Magazine division.

Ms. Pouliquen served as assistant editor-in-chief at L’Express Styles, editor-in-chief of Be, and then, until recently, assistant editor-in-chief at Marie-Claire. She will bring to the position her professionalism, enthusiasm, knowledge of magazine publishing and fashion expertise, and will take up her duties as of 12 January 2015.
