Gérard Adsuar, the Lagardère group's Chief Financial Officer, announced Emmanuel Rapin's appointment as Head of Financing and Investor Relations from 1 February 2020 as part of the restructuring of corporate management functions.

In addition to retaining his role as the head of the Treasury and Financing Department, Emmanuel Rapin will also take over Investor Relations from Florence Lonis.

He will be the primary contact person for financial markets, with responsibility for coordinating the Group's interactions with shareholders, investors and financial analysts.


Emmanuel Rapin joined Lagardère in 2012 as Group Treasury, Financing and Insurance Director after leaving Rhodia, where he had been Group Treasury and Financing Director since 2009. From 2005 to 2008, he was based in Princeton, New Jersey, United States, as Novecare's global division Management Control Director. Between 1999 and 2004, he oversaw the Finance Department for Rhodia-Solvay's Asia-Pacific region in Singapore. From 1994 to 1999 he carried out international M&A transactions in his capacity as M&A Director at Rhône-Poulenc. Emmanuel Rapin is a graduate of Neoma Business School.
