One of the two divisions of the Lagardère group, Lagardère Travel Retail meets the needs of passengers and licensors in a holistic way through a network of more than 5 000 Travel Essentials, Duty Free & Fashion and Foodservice outlets. The group has established an ambitious CSR roadmap called P.E.P.S (Planet.Ethics.People.Social), in order to contribute to the construction of a more sustainable industry. In 2023, Lagardère Travel Retail generated €6.6bn sales.
The international brand manager oversees the coordination and the development of the Foodservice Business Line partner brands’ portfolio.
The Foodservice Business Line has reached €1,4bn in 2023 in 30 countries, 5 continents. It’s a growth engine, mostly thanks to acquisitions, enlarging our footprint as well as our food expertise. Integrating, identifying best practices and sharing them are key topics. The Foodservice Business Line is very much involved when it comes to supporting countries in opening FS activities whenever its’ a country opening or the launch of a foodservice activity. The Foodservice Business Line is also very much involved in supporting the countries in optimizing their Like Fore Like business from a top line and bottom-line perspective. Another challenge is to always adapt to the countries specificities as well as to the different F&B segments and brands.
Missions :
Brand Portfolio strategy : Actively participate to the development of the whole Foodservice brand portfolio strategy by defining the methodology of this strategy at a global level and ensure its implementation in each country in collaboration with local team
Partner Brands management
- The International Brand Manager will be in charge of: identifying new potential partners (eg emerging brands), developing new partnerships, at regional or global level, managing the existing partnerships, from monitoring our mutual commitments to the optimization of the brands' efficiency from a qualitative and quantitative perspective.
- The International Partner Brand Manager will oversee all communications between existing brands and local teams, as well as coordinate with business development teams for entering new territories.
She/He will also coordinate the relationship with different services involved in the relationship with partner brands such as among others legal teams to ensure the sustainability of our agreements.
Actively participate to answering tenders / RFPs together with Business development teams.
Profile :
Business School or equivalent with an experience in brand management or business development. An experience in foodservice would be a plus or at least being passionate about the F&B industry with :
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Team spirit
- Capability to think strategically and act “hands-on”
- Project management
- Strong skills in building impactful PPT presentations
- Ability to understand and to challenge a business model
- Negotiation skills
