FUNKSHION Productions is a company that among other aspects of production, specializes in innovative fashion show and fashion presentation concept, production and execution. We imagine, create and execute events that connect people to fashion brands. From concept to execution FUNKSHION brings a strategic vision to life through dynamic multimedia, state of the art equipment and a team of professionals delivering a dramatic client branded environment.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Provide operational analysis by partnering with business units
  • Develop new KPI dashboard, performance tracking, client profitability model, pricing model and analysis on business strategies to drive revenues/costs, meet budget targets, and highlight business risks. Set up process automation
  • Lead month-end closing process, budgeting and re-forecasting and controlling procedures under both US GAAP and IFRS
  • Partner with business units to implement operational process
  • Provide merger and acquisition analysis on various targeted companies.
  • Perform financial modeling of company valuation, synergy analysis, and sensitivity reports
  • Lead financial integration of newly acquired company.
  • Lead the application of the existing KPI and processes to those new companies
  • Lead the implementation of automation processes to streamline back-office operations
  • Manage team of two employees; one Financial Analyst and one AP/AR Specialist

Requirements :

  • Master’s Degree in Finance or Controlling
  • 5+ years’ experience in Corporate Finance, Audit, M&A, Strategy, Operations, Tech Start-ups
  • Dynamic personality able to effectively engage with internal team members and different stakeholders (Accounting firm, lawyers, HR providers, etc.)
  • Proven understanding of digital media terminology and industry trends
  • Excellent communication in English, and presentation skills, ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, VBA is a plus
  • This is a hybrid role based in NYC, working in-office Tuesday-Thursday weekly. Travel to Miami will be required.
