The development of the Lagardère group's CSR policy has been gradually adapted to the scope and specific nature of its activities, as well as its surrounding social environment. This strategy is based on three core pillars.

The first is placing people at the heart of the strategy. This both concerns the Group's human resources (with focus on gender balance, diversity and talent attraction) and the various audiences concerned by its activities (access to and dissemination of education, culture and entertainment, promotion of cultural diversity and broad spectrum of opinions).

The second is rooted around environmental responsibility and encompasses three fields of actions, taking into account the Group's activities: climate change; responsible paper management (relating to publishing activities) and sustainable food (in relation to foodservice activities in transportation areas).

Lastly, the third pillar relates to ethical and responsible corporate governance, which underpins the entire CSR strategy and entails both compliance (such as fighting corruption, duty of care and data protection) and the Group's corporate governance more generally.
