Lagardère succeeded the launch of its bond issue

Lagardère successfully launched yesterday a €500m, 7-years (due in April 2023) bond issue, with an annual coupon of 2.75%.
The order book reached an amount of €2,700million, 5.4 times oversubscribed.

The success of the launch of this new bond issue illustrates the investors' confidence in the Lagardère group's strategy and in the soundness of the company's financial profile.

The proceeds of this issue are intended to be used to refinance the bridge loan subscribed for the acquisition of Paradies and for the general corporate purposes.

This new bond issue will enable Lagardère to lengthen the maturity of its debt profile.

BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole CIB and JP Morgan are acting as lead arrangers on this bond issue, alongside with HSBC and Société Générale acting as bookrunners.

"I acknowledge the work of the Lagardère team and our banks which makes this issue a real success and emphasizes the credibility of our presence on bond markets. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank all lenders and to reiterate the Group's strategic pillars and our willingness to work on cash generation", declared Arnaud Lagardère.
