Grand Central Publishing

Grand Central Publishing reaches a diverse audience through hardcover, trade paperback, mass market, and ebook imprints that cater to every kind of reader. From the best commercial fiction to remarkable literary works, from reprint classics to the biggest event books of each season, GCP has grown into a publisher that currently boasts one of the most eclectic and exciting lists in the business. Formerly known as Warner Books, the publishing house came into existence in 1970 when Warner Communications acquired the Paperback Library and began publishing paperback reprints editions of bestsellers. In 1980, Warner Books launched its hardcover publishing program, and from the beginning enjoyed success with such blockbusters as John Naisbitt's Megatrends, Andrew Greeley's The Cardinal Sins, and Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw's Life Extension. In the 1990s they continued to add to that impressive list with such landmark bestsellers as Robert James Waller's The Bridges Of Madison Country, James Redfield's The Celestine Prophecy, and Sarah Ban Breathnach's Simple Abundance. More recent bestselling authors on the GCP list include David Baldacci, Sandra Brown, Stephen Chbosky, Harlan Coben, Sally Field, Thomas Harris, Iris Johansen, Caroline Kennedy, Min Jin Lee, Admiral William H. McRaven, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, Nicholas Sparks, and Scott Turow. The imprints that publish books as part of GCP are Forever, Forever Yours, Twelve, and Vision. "
