Lagardère postpones the IPO calendar of Canal+ France due to the disaster in Japan

Due to the scale of the disaster in Japan, and thereof to the extreme volatility of the markets, the Lagardère group has decided to postpone the calendar of the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of its stake in Canal+ France.

The Lagardère group reasserts its strong resolution to sell soon its stake in Canal+ France in the best interest of its shareholders.

Lagardère reasserts its support to Canal+ France and to its management, and remains confident in the company’s prospects.

The Group wishes to express its compassion to its employees in Japan and to the Japanese people.

Dominique D’Hinnin, Co-Managing Partner of Lagardère SCA, will hold a teleconference reserved for journalists at 6.15 pm today.
