BE achieves a numbers boost this summer

Be has confirmed its success as a high-end generation-based multimedia brand for the 30-to-40 age bracket with very solid sales over the summer.

For the period from March to July 2010, the magazine recorded average paid circulation of 175,244 copies (source: 0JD) compared to its initial goal of an annual average of 160,000 copies.

In July, paid circulation in France even exceeded the 195,000 mark.

Lagardère Active has also announced an average of 20 advertising pages for September - much higher than the goal of 15 stated at the magazine's launch.

The creation of a publishing joint venture with the Marie Claire Group will bring Be additional resources to continue its qualitative upgrade and strengthen its position on the very competitive market for new generation-specific women's weekly publications.
