• A Monsieur Madame book is sold every 12 seconds. Hachette Jeunesse will sell nearly 2.7 million copies in 2009: Monsieur Madame is the leading license on the illustrated-book market.
• To date, the license has 35 partners in a wide range of sectors, with product lines for children and adults alike, and new merchandise is released on a regular basis.

And worldwide:

• With over 100 million books sold in 17 countries and translated into over 20 languages, a copy is sold somewhere in the world every two and a half seconds!
• The series is available in 20 countries.
• A tidal wave of Monsieur Madame T-shirts is sweeping the four corners of the planet.
• No. 3 among plush toys in the UK in 2009 (Fisher-Price).
• Revenues from licensing and merchandising increased by 44% from 2008 to 2009!
• The total value of sales rose from €196 million in 2008 to €239 million in 2009.
