“The Class” reunites on Virgin 17 –  for better or worse!

On Saturday 25 April, Virgin 17 will introduce viewers to “The Class,” a politically incorrect, bitingly funny US series that first aired on CBS in 2006. Two producers, formerly of “Friends” (David Crane) and “Mad About You” (Jeffrey Klerik), joined satiric forces to create this madcap sitcom, which offers Virgin 17 viewers plenty of surprises…

Ethan, a single paediatrician, decides to organize a party for former classmates that he’s known since primary school. After 20 years, everyone has grown up and gone their separate ways, so the reunion is a chance for them to renew old ties and recall happy (and not-so-happy!) memories.

This group of thirtysomethings, who have changed more than a little over the years, includes twin sisters Kat and Lina; Duncan, who is still living at home with his mother and crazy about his high-school sweetheart; the latter, Nicole, who has married a famous footballer; and the rest – all of them highly colourful characters.

The series won a US People’s Choice Award in 2007 for best new TV comedy series.
