BOLT hits movie theaters from 4 February and is available in bookstores now!
Disney Studios’ latest film, BOLT, makes its big-screen debut on 4 February, and Hachette Jeunesse’s Disney collection offers plenty of ways to get to know its canine hero.
A dog named Bolt is a small-screen star who plays a superhero endowed with special powers, leading a televised life full of adventures, danger and bravery. In reality, however, he has spent his entire life in the studio where he works and has no idea that his extraordinary powers aren’t real.
His chance discovery of the outside world forces him to face up to the stark reality of his "ordinary" life as a "normal" dog. During the course of his new adventures he meets Mitaine, a cat with a story like his own, and Rhino, a plump hamster who travels everywhere in a clear plastic exercise ball, and learns that true heroism needs no magic.
The Disney collection from Editions Hachette Jeunesse features lavishly illustrated volumes through which readers can plunge into Volt’s story plus appealing colouring books that introduce the animated tale’s characters.
