Gautier Young Readers 2007
A Gautier Languereau Collection Available in bookstores on 14 March

"Our publishing house is defined by a desire to offer children wonderful stories that foster a love of reading while helping them grow. We are particularly dedicated to enriching these stories with splendid illustrations that can transport children to a world of dreams and kindle their imaginations."Brigitte Leblanc – Editorial Director

Gautier Young Readers is a new collection featuring the best of Gautier-Languereau in small paperback format for €5.20.

Each work handles various topics from a child's world: their fears, dreams and worries – the questions they ask their parents and teachers alike.

The collection is designed for two age groups: For Little Ones* and For Older Children** (indicated on the outside back cover). There are funny, touching stories from talented authors like Ghislaine Biondi, Giles Andreae and Debi Gliori, and popular illustrators like Rébecca Dautremer.

Here are a few examples of the issues covered in Gautier Young Readers:

  • Family relationships: the arrival of a new baby in the home.
  • Motherly love: a mother's love is everlasting.
  • Growing up: getting older and gradually gaining independence.
  • Friendship.
  • School and head lice.

Visit Gautier-Languereau at its Internet site, www.gautier-languereau.fr (coming soon), to find our catalogue, news and upcoming features. At the Gautier Young Readers site you can download teaching aid files from the collection.
