Group subsidiaries take care to implement remuneration practices that are competitive and consistent with those found in their market. Common principles of conformity, competitiveness and fairness in remuneration practices are shared by all Lagardère Média subsidiaries. Some companies in the group participate in periodic salary surveys in order to ensure that there is a degree of fairness in the area of remuneration, both compared with the market and in relation to all employees in similar roles.

Remuneration practices are also determined in accordance with the social and economic context found in each country and, if applicable, the agreements negotiated with labour organizations for each sector of activity with regard to general increases.

In order to take account of employees' skills profiles, training and level of responsibility, as well as the specific characteristics of the sectors in which they work, salary raises are increasingly determined on an individual basis. Individual performance is assessed against quantitative and qualitative criteria defined by the subsidiaries.

In addition, they increasingly include additional elements linked to joint and individual performance such as bonuses and variable portions on top of the basic salary. These practices allow us to reward employees for fulfilling their personal objectives and achieving joint results at the level of the subsidiary or even of the group as a whole.
