The Lagardère Group’s various operating entities and their respective directors are responsible for social, societal and environmental policies, with the objective of incorporating their concepts and means of implementation into the very fabric of the group’s companies. Nonetheless, a crosscutting steering team – the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee – has been charged by the managing partners with:

• Informing, sensitizing and mobilizing a network of representatives within the branches with regard to matters touching on the group’s social, societal and environmental responsibilities.
• Monitoring the continuous improvement of the group’s practices and methods.
• Implementing and coordinating the reporting process.
• Responding to requests from rating authorities concerning social, societal and environmental issues.

The duties of the CSR committee will be carried out in consultation with, among others, the following departments:

• The human resources departments of the various entities and their teams, which are responsible for their human-resources and social-reporting policies: the group’s strategy will be discussed, defined and formalized in consultation with the line managers of each branch during semi-monthly meetings, and adapted to specific circumstances under their authority.
• The branch’s general administrative and technical departments, which are in charge of the continuous improvement of environmental actions and which actively participate in environmental reporting.
