  • Arnaud Lagardère

    In addition, Mr. Arnaud Lagardère is the Chairman of Lagardère Capital & Management and also holds the share capital of that company, which itself held 10.30% of Lagardère SCA’s share capital on 31 December 2008.
    Mr. Arnaud Lagardère holds a DEA higher degree in economics from the University of Paris Dauphine. He was appointed Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company MMB (which became Lagardère SCA) in 1987. He was Chairman of the US company Grolier Inc from 1994 to 1998.

      Mr. Philippe Camus is a former student of the École Normale Supérieure de Paris (ULM Paris), and holds a degree from the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (Economics and Finance) and the highest-level teaching qualification (aggregation) in Physics and Actuarial Science. Deputy Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Arjil Commanditée-Arco (SA), and co-Managing Partner of the Lagardère Group.



    • Pierre Leroy

      Born 8 October 1948
      Pierre Leroy has spent the greater part of his career in the Lagardère Group. After passing a graduate entrance exam, he was placed under the supervision of Sylvain Floirat, initially joining Matra as a Finance Officer, before becoming General Secretary of Subsidiaries, then Director of the General Secretariat.

      He also worked for Jean-Luc Lagardère in a number of management positions within the supervisory structures of the Matra and Hachette groups. Following the merger of Matra and Hachette, he was appointed General Secretary of the Lagardère Group in 1993. He is the Director of several Lagardère companies and Chairman of Lagardère Ressources, which manages the Group's corporate services.

      He is also a member of the Executive Committee and of the Group Finance Committee. In 2004, Pierre Leroy was appointed Director and Chief Operating Officer of Arco and, in this capacity, the Co-Managing Partner of the Lagardère Group.
